After having mediocre shawarma from a lot of places for a week straight, (go to hell pita land), we finally got what we were craving for from Shawarnado. The selection of base and sides for your plates, selection of sauces, and selection of toppings for your wrap is unmatched. As someone who loves salad bases, Shawarnado has nice options. The chicken is flavoured and cooked perfectly!!! And they do not skimp out on meat or sides.

This was my first time eating at Shawarnado and I was pleasantly surprised. I could smell the food as soon as I pulled into the parking lot. Even though I went there close to closing time, the food tasted great and didn’t feel like leftovers as most restaurants normally do. It was fresh and well seasoned and came with fresh salad and potatoes. The staff was friendly and took my order right away. I didn’t have to wait long to receive my order either. I ordered a large mixed combo and a regular chicken Shawarma, which both came up to less than 30. I gave this restaurant a five start for: - Great Tasting Food - Fast Friendly Staff - Good Portions - Reasonably Priced - Clean Restaurant - Food Options Can’t wait to go back!

Richmond Hill resident coming to Shawarnado Shawarma for the second time! First was late 2021 and second time today. The food was amazing the portion was amazing for the large plate. We had the chicken shawarma plate and it almost took 3 of us to finish! Yummy and will come back again!

Shawarnado Shawarma delivers on quantity and flavour—well, mostly! We got the medium chicken shawarma plate and were surprised by how generous the portion was—definitely enough for two to share. The chicken was tasty and well-seasoned, and the garlic potatoes were an absolute standout—crispy, flavourful, and highly recommended. The hot sauce packed a punch (in the best way), so spice lovers will be pleased. The yellow rice, on the other hand, could’ve used a bit more seasoning—it felt a little bland in comparison. The fatoush salad leaned more towards a basic garden salad with some crispy bits tossed in, so don’t expect anything too exciting there. The meal took about 10 minutes to prepare, which was reasonable. Ambience is pretty simple, but the place has lots of parking, making it a convenient and easy stop. Total came to 23 including tip—not bad at all for a filling meal for two. We also got a pop on the side to round things off.

It doesn’t look the most visually appetizing but trust me this spot has the best Chicken and beef over Rice platter I have had in the GTA. Their garlic potatoes are my favourite and the combination of the sauces with the meat and rice makes a perfect bite. I devoured the whole thing. They load the platter up and don’t skimp out on portion sizes. So much flavour that I crave about it just about every other day. Sal approved

Tried the Chicken Shawarma wrap and the Falafel Shawarma plate—and both were excellent! The flavors were bold and well-balanced, with sauces that really brought everything together. The portions were generous, making it a great value for the price. The chicken was tender and well-seasoned, while the falafel was crispy on the outside and soft inside. Definitely a satisfying and flavourful experience. Highly recommend

A good size for about 11 dollars after tax. I had the chicken shawarma wrap. Service was friendly and extra points for their hot sauce being original and having some good heat to it. The chicken seemed pretty heavily seasoned. For the price you can’t ask for much more. If I was in the area again I’d go back knowing I’m getting a good deal and fresh food. Give them a try.

Have tried Shawarnado several times over the last year, and this place is all but heavily flavored shawarma meats, loaded shawarma wraps and plates, large quantities, and all the while being very reasonably priced. They are busy at peak hours, but there is still ample seating for a fastfood shawarma place. Give it a try if you like loaded shawarma wraps and platters.
